The following are minimum requirements for applicants to join the EDEquity Team of consultants:
Understands the difference between Equity and Equal in the school context
Strong knowledge of how culture and race impacts instruction and adult’s behavior
Possess small/large group facilitation skills
Have had success increasing student achievement
Effectively use quantitative and qualitative data to diagnose student strengths and weaknesses
Strong knowledge of and can implement research based instructional strategies
Can coach teacher-leaders and principals
Understands and can facilitate the implementation of the 9 Essential Program Components (EPC’s)
